Speaker Bio :
Sabin Dima is a seasoned tech entrepreneur and former investor with over 15 years of experience in the industry. He began his entrepreneurial journey at the young age of 16 by creating one of the first social platforms in the Middle East. Later, at the age of 21, Sabin co-founded one of the first investment funds in the technology sector in Romania. Since then, he has founded and invested in several technology companies, including the start-up AroundWise, which offers marketing solutions for shopping centres and is used by over 400 retailers.
In 2019, Sabin launched his most ambitious venture so far, Humans.ai, the world's first platform offering an ecosystem where artificial intelligence can be effortlessly implemented and governed within an unprecedented framework of transparency and scalability.
A UC Berkeley fellow, Sabin Dima is at the forefront of researching how AI can be a source of truth for humankind and empower innovation. One such ambitious project Sabin Dima is involved with is the Smart Village initiative, coordinated by UC Berkeley's Prof. Solomon Darwin, which aims to leverage technology and artificial intelligence to empower communities.
